This event was a Winner of the 2008 International Special Events Society St. Louis Chapter Louie Awards and has been seen on the pages of national magazine Inside Weddings 2008 Summer Edition and Saint Louis Bride Magazine.

  • On Thursday before the wedding ceremony, guests were invited to an outing and scavenger hunt at the City Museum followed by a Friday Forest Park outing with a tennis tournament and Spa Day, the evening ended with a private concert by Erin Bode at Finale Restaurant. The Rehearsal Dinner the next evening was held at Bellerive Country Club.
  • The Ceremony was held at the bride’s family residence under a large tent, provided by Traube Tent Company, and was accented with Papaya, Teal, & Ivory florals created by Montano Grant. Custom Aisle runner was created through Original Runner Company and Premier Party Rentals provided the natural wood folding chairs. The bride and groom were whisked away to the reception at Ritz Carlton St Louis in a horse and carriage. In the meantime, guests enjoyed sorbets through Cold Stone Creamery. Buses took guests on city tours provided by Destination St. Louis.
  • The evening continued with more music from around the world all managed by Contemporary Productions, Parking Lot Musicians: JOIA, Cocktail Hour FMR Trio, Dinner Music- The Poor People of Paris, Dinner & Dancing Music- Gumbohead and Fabulous Motown Review.
  • Videographer, Lifetime Media captured the beautiful toasts and presented their product in an old-fashioned style travel box customized for Alicia & Andrew.
  • The Aries Company provided the rentals and audiovisual lighting design elements for the reception.
  • The floral design and production created by Montano Grant.
  • Stationery items from Two Blue Doors included Fans for Programs, Escort Card Luggage Tags,
  • Personalized Table Numbers with Trivia Questions about the bride & groom.
  • Calligraphy: Barbara Winnerman.
  • Cake designs included a travel theme groom’s cake and an elegant bridal cake by Sugaree.
  • The elevated round platform in the center of the room for the oversized head table was created by Exclusive Events, on the platform was a hand painting of the stars in the sky.
  • Photobooth for the guestbook was supplied by Photobooth STL complete with retro travel suitcase to drop in the strips of black & white photos.
  • Alternating linen styles provided by Sitting Pretty – Party Arts
  • Babysitters provided by TLC for Kids
  • Guest Favors: Travel Journals & Atlas
  • Ice Sculpture was designed as a globe with photos of Alicia & Andrew traveling throughout the world created by Ice Visions.
